I bought this refrigerator from Home Depot June 13 2024. It has not worked since entering my home. We waited the 48hours suggested by delivery logistics company and it did not work after eating that time. We have had 3 repair services and the last one the repairman sent by LG could not figure out how to get the parts into the refrigerators sealed compartments.

Terrible ice production

This freezer stopped producing our 6 per day round ice just after our warranty was up. Now we are getting error codes as well as slow ice production up top too. We are lucky to get 2 round ice cubes a day. Now our freezer is making a whining noise. We also get a FFE code that shows on the screen. So upset that we spent this much money for it to not even last 2 years. We thought buying a LG appliance was a smart move. Smh Poor quality at an expensive price.

use the 1 year mfr warranty - but Great fridge

We really love our refrigerator -- The downside is that we had the fan replaced 2x the ice maker 1x the compressor 2 times within the first year - Make sure you take full advantage of the mfgr warranty - we had to call and schedule a repair person to come out and fix it - this took time but the new compressor has its own long warranty I think it is 10 years?? Make sure you dont over stuff the freezer and keep the doors/drawers closed. If it is in a cabinet enclosure - pull out the refrigerator to clean the vents regularly. We put in an open vent on the outside of the cabinet to help with the air flow. We havent had any issues other than the air vent getting clogged with dust and pet hair It is truly an awesome fridge as long as the compressor and fans work or get them replaced ASAP.

Great Features Terrible Reliability/Service Costs

We purchased this model new in 2021 for a new home along whit a whole suite of LG appliances. I would compare the fridge to a 1960s British sportscar....the best driving experience ever but ridiculously expensive to keep on the road and poor service. The fridge has all the options you could want and plenty of space for all our food/drink. We had our first unit for around 2 years when the compressor quit. Had to have service guy out 3 times empty fridge every time before LG would replace fridge even though they were aware of compressor issues with our model. Finally paid for a replacement fridge but prorated the payment which ended up costing us approx $840 for the exact same unit that had just quit. Now we had the ice maker fan bearing fail at 14 months on the new unit and LG is charging us $400 for a 30 minute repair and a $140 replacement part. While we love the fridge when it runs hence the 2 stars I cant recommend it when its cost us approx $1250 in service calls in 4 years.

Not happy very disappointed so far.

I bought my LG Fridge a few months ago. I was so excited only to find out the delivery people werent comfortable delivering it up 1 step to get in my house. 1 of the drivers said she wasnt strong enough so it sat in my garage for a couple weeks till they could get 2 other people out. As for the fridge itself my excitement has changed to disappointment. The craft ice maker stopped working wet quickly. I called to get help and warranty work to fix the problem only to have the agent hang up on me because they dont have a service technician in my area. I then started having an error code on the front display EE. F. I was unable to connect it to my phone through the link. So I called back customer service and they told me its a circulation error and they will fix it when they come out to fix the other issue. Well Ive now called several times over the last couple months with no help. They keep telling me they have no service technician in my area they will call me back. So for MONTHS Ive had no craft ice from the freezer or ice or water through the door. I do like the fact that the middle draw can be freezer or fridge. I really dont have much to say right now due to my frustration or paying thousands of dollars and not being able to use every feature.

I bought the refrigerator during the pandemic two years ago We waited three months to get the fridge raider because they didnt have any in stock and we had it for two years This year it had broken already.. Lucky we had insurance they did come out and fix it but we had lost a lot of food and they dont deduct all the food that I have lost.. They only cover $300

Paid a lot for this refrigerator and it is not dependable. The freezer gets stuck in defrost and everything thaws. Tech replacers can and now it sounds like a tractor in our kitchen. Not real satisfied. Wont purchase LG again.

I love the size of the refrigerator and the middle drawer that keeps our drinks perfectly cold but the ice makers are another story...I have an ice maker on the counter to make ice even though the refrigerator has 2 They were both out at the same time and honestly the one in the door cant make enough ice to keep up and the craft icemaker takes days to make one. Not the best purchase I have ever made very disappointed. I guess I should have gone with what someone told me to only buy an LG TV not appliances.

This is a wonderful fridge. But it is big so measure your opening I was giddy about the craft ice and the slim ice/water dispenser in the fridge door - perfect It holds sooooo much and the slide back shelf is great. I purchased my first LG products this year and couldnt be happier.

LG does not fulfill their promises in regards to rebates we bought 4 new appliances and should have gotten a $500 gift card LG has used every excuse possible to not send us the rebate their Customer Service presidential representative Didnt communicate with us in a timely manner and no one from LG Would call us with an Explanation as to why they wouldnt fulfill their requirements on the rebates. LG Should be ashamed of their customer service. I pray that none of our appliances break down because I have very little faith In LG Repairing our appliances. Dont buy from LG.

I bought this a month ago and had to wait a month for it to be delivered. Ive had issues since it arrived. The front doors dont close completely the center seal will hang up and leave a gap between the doors. I called for service after 4 days and then had to wait a week to get someone out to look at it. All the time trying to adjust it per your instinstructionsthe manual. The service rep adjusted the door the best he could and then told me that was all he could do. I will just have to live with it. Also the right outer door will not open all the time we have to fight it. Were in our 70s. Why do we have to put up with poor products? NOT TO MENTION THAT WE PAID $3000 FOR THIS.

We bought this fridge a little over one year ago. Since then we have had a service guy out three times to work on it for various issues most recently because the unit wouldnt cool. The first time he come out Was because the craft icemaker would not make ice. The second time the service tech was out. was because the icemaker in the door nor the craft icemaker would make ice. Most recently the service tech was out because the unit would not cool. Diagnosis was the compressor was out and various other things were wrong with it. So in the 18 months we have had the refrigerator both icemakers have been replaced we are currently three weeks out waiting for a new compressor. In my opinion we paid $4000 for a refrigerator that has been nothing but trouble. Needless to say I would avoid LG products at all cost

Best Refrigerator Ive ever owned

The best refrigerator I have ever owned. It is big - be sure to measure. We had to make adjustments to the upper cabinet for it to fit. But the quality of this fridge is exceptional. Even with the ice maker in the door - it has tons of door storage. The outer access to the right door is fabulous. The center drawer is great - no more opening doors to access the drawer. And it is deeper than expected. The options for ice are fun. We use the regular ice in the door ice maker and the craft ice in the freezer. My only complaint and its not a big deal is that when the freezer ice is full the ice falls out to the floor of the fridge. The opening in back is cut out to accommodate the ice maker but makes the opening too big. I just keep a yardstick handy in the kitchen to move the ice out. I love the craft ice.

LRMDS3006D Fridge and reps gone bad

Was a good fridge until 6/7/2024

The fridge was brand new when I purchased my home 1 year and half ago. The compressor went bad almost one month ago. The repair team at LG was contacted. They coordinated for a company that comes to my area once a week. After three trips and one repair and almost four weeks my fridge is still not workiing. I contacted LG again after the second time and oh yeah I had insulin and almost 2000 of food spoil only to be told give it a few more days My issue was then elevated the Presidental team only to be told lets give it more time This was all done via text wich I hate because alot of things could be miss interpreed. More importantly this is NOT a quick way to resolve an issue. I dont knock your protocols however the individuals who are responsible for ensuring this are handle in a timely manner lack empathy and are no proactive nor do they have the ability to be proactive to include the rep at the presidential liaison team. I have had to be off of work because of this I have requested numerous callbacks only to not have that happen. I can understand if the broken product was a TV or washer or dryer however this is a fridge a quality of life product that should be handled quickly.

$4000 worth of Garbage

This unit stopped working exactly one month after it was purchased. The motor and other components had to be replaced I asked for a new unit to no avail. The following year last month it stopped working again. Customer care was and is trash. It took almost 3 weeks for us to get a technician. I finally had to call my state office of consumer affairs which when LG got wind is when they reached out. They sent a whole bunch of unnecessary parts before assigning a tech. The tech didnt need them so they are just taking up space in my house. I honestly hate that I entered into a buy agreement with this company and pray they REEP what they have sewn as they have taken advantage of me and many other customers.

I love my appliances I have the thinQ FrigStove and Microwave.I Really enjoy the air fryer and front knobs with the lock feature on the stove. The double drawers and craft ice is great in the refrigerator as well as the quick access door. The microwave is lg inside and beautiful outside. My dishwasher is absolutely fantastic the extra tray on top is great and the turbo wash is exactly that. I would definitely recommend all these products to anyone. also an added bonus is the wifi

Love this refrigerator but the main ice unit failed about 6 months in warranty covered it. Then craft ice maker failed about 14 months in and my extended warranty covered it. Moral to the story buy the 3 year extended warranty it will pay for itself. Other than ice making units all else has been great

Beware of this unit.

Ive had this fridge for about a year now. I have called for service on the ice makers twice already in that 1 year. We have had to replace both ice makers to this point and the craft ice maker is once again not working properly. There is not a lot of room inside the fridge to store items like milk jugs tea pitchers etc. After talking to some service repair men I would recommend looking at an alternate brand of refrigerator. Customer service is little to no help so thats another reason to avoid LG.

I purchased this unit three and a half years ago. Up until about 6 months ago everything was working fine it was a good refrigerator. The craft ice machine quit making ice like I said about 6 months ago and Im not sure it falls under anymore probably the basic refrigerator warranty. So I dont know that Ill fix that. And now its been almost 2 weeks and a quick Cooling and shut completely down with an error code of ch. And Ive now have to wait over a week have anybody come out and check it Im sure thats not LGs fault but its rather discouraging since I dont have a refrigerator.

I purchased this refrigerator on Saturday to be delivered on Thursday it is now Sunday and the refrigerator has not gotten below 40 degrees and the freezer is 15 degrees even with the settings at 34 and 0. I contacted LG who has advised me I will hear from a service technician in 2-3 days with an appointment for a technician to come look at my refrigerator. I asked what I should yet again do with my food that I just replaced and was told to maybe put it in coolers. Not off to a great start LG. The size and design is the only reason it didnt get 0 stars.

Its been a few weeks since I bought this fridge. It really look beautiful in my kitchen. The color is perfect. Its so spacious inside. Love the 5-doors. Unfortunately there are and were several issues with this fridge. First parts were missing upon delivery a door handle. This got delivered a week after and husband fixed it without much problems. My biggest dissatisfaction is the water filter. Water tastes metal and even worse. We have a filter but no matter what we do the water still taste really bad. Weve tried to waste filtered water so much so it doesnt make any sense why itsstill this bad. Not sure why this is. Im now buying bottled water.

Poor response to service call.

The Refrigerator was delivered installed and set up right on schedule. Everything worked except the ice-cube maker in the main freezer. I reported it and then began weeks of waiting time to get a service appointment. On the first call the tech did some troubleshooting. Each follow-up call thereafter was another piece of information that I was asked for. information they should have had SN part # address etc The big day finally came and the tech was at my door. Very nicely dressed which is rare in this day and age and very polite. He asked a couple of questions. Played around at the ice maker for a minute and said he was done. Basically all he did was push what he called the reset button. During the first troubleshooting call reset was not even brought up. It was not in any of the documentation. And you cannot see it looking at the unit you must know its there. The tech said that is a very common issue. So why have the phone techs not been told about this so they can walk the customer through doing a reset? I could have had ice 3 weeks ago. The first ice-cubes came out 26hrs later.

Bought this fridge in 2022. Within 10 months it stopped getting cold after 5 visits from the service man LG ended up lemoning it out. Just glad I didnt buy all the appliances at one time. The fridge was the first one we replaced and having to replace it again before a year was up I will not be purchasing LG appliances ever again.
