We have been using this dryer for a few weeks and are still learning all the available features. The Dryer works efficiently to dry your clothing in a variety of ways, saving time, effort, and clothing wear & tear. The one we have come to love is the freshen cycle, where cloths left in the dryer tend to have wrinkles can be placed on a freshen cycle that removes wrinkles. If you can't get to folding your clothing right away, you can wait and use this special cycle and fold your clothes on your schedule. There are many more features that we will continue to explore as time allows.The 8 cu.ft. size and the operation of this unit is perfect. The footprint of the dryer allowed easy placement where the old dryer was removed.

Electrolux at its finest. My new front loaders are terrific. There a slot for the PODS. Don't know of other companies doing that. What also was an asset is the fact my doors were able to be opened in a convenient way to transfer from washer to dryer.

Drier doesn't dry

Unfortunately, after researching between LG and Electrolux and despite reviews that the units don't dry thoroughly, went with the Electrolux anyway. Well, the unit doesn't dry without having to do an additional time setting. Doesn't matter if do timed, auto-dry, high heat, or low heat or the level of spin on the washer. And to make matters worse, keep receiving harassing letters about extended warranty. I didn't purchase when bought the drier and certainly not going to purchase now. And by writing this review have to now consent to getting promotional emails and opt out of that again. Disappointed.

Proper duct tubing was not provided by installer

Do not buy this appliance unless you are prepared to purchase your own duct ventilation tubing that is required for this dryer, per the manual and installation instructions. I have inside wall duct piping. Hahn appliance stated they would not change their installed duct piping to the appropriate duct material, as it was installed per Frigidaire™€™s approved standards. Electrolux said it was within 30 days of purchase, so Hahn was responsible. The Electrolux repairman told me wrong duct piping was used, per the manual. Zero solution to this. I know when a dryer is not working right. I had to have a trusted repair person to purchase flexible aluminum (metal) tubing that does not extend and compress in a manner that reduces the 4™€ diameter air flow required for the dryer to correctly collect the link. This fault can be a fire hazard. Now, the dryer is properly collecting the lint. Otherwise, I purchased for steam feature and I am now satisfied, after paying to have it correctly installed.

We needed a gas dryer quickly because we invited our grandson to come live with us while he created living space in a bus he bought from the River guiding company where he was a guide. We called several appliance companies and many did not have gas dryers and they were often too large for our under counter space. Bought the Electrolux dryer first time using this brand. Two weeks later there is a noise coming fro it sounds like a belt issue. Had to call them and they are sending a guy out this Friday to look at it. Extremely disappointed that this is happening. $1,000 dryer shouldn™€™t do this.

To say that I am extremely disappointed would be a major understatement. I had an 11 year old Electrolux set that worked great, so much so that I bought a new set without exploring any other brands. What a mistake! The wash cycles are so much longer, with limited choice settings (temp and soil level) within the preset setting. The dryer is even worse than the washer. Eighty eight minutes to dry a load of towels! On top of that, I ordered a set and got a call that they didn™€™t have the same series washer in stock, so they assured us the series lower would match and look exactly the same. They do not. I have two different color doors. Extremely disappointing. I spent over $2,000 for this.
