My 2.5 year-old freezer has been slowly leaking water on to my floor for what seems to be months. Now I have a completely destroyed kitchen floor, a $10k+ black mould problem (which my insurance policy stipulates it will not compensate me for), a freezer with an expired warranty, and a completely non-functioning kitchen. This is in stark contrast with a similar experience I had in my old house. Except I had a Sub Zero fridge and when I called them, they told me that there was a product recall and they covered the cost to have my floors redone. No issues. The repair person on my current fridge said don™™t bother having the ice maker replaced because it™™ll leak again in another couple of years.

I searched high and low for a built in refrigerator that had tons of room but they all seem so limited on space. But then I found this stand alone refrigerator and stand alone freezer with the trim kit. It is my FAVORITE thing about my home remodel. It is beautiful, has tons of space and everyone comments about it. It is an eye catcher and suits all of my needs.

I purchased this freezer three years ago, and while it worked fine initially, it completely stopped working just after the three-year mark. I reached out to the company's customer service for help, but unfortunately, they were not willing to assist with repairs or even provide guidance on troubleshooting. Their customer service team was unhelpful, dismissive, and showed little concern for the issue. I have waited now for 3 weeks to have a technician to come out and make the repairs after several cancellations due to "part being unavailable". After a quick search on the internet, the part is readily available from a number of different distributors; however, Frigidaire would not acknowledge this.A major appliance like a freezer should last much longer than three years, and it's extremely disappointing that the company won™™t stand behind their product. I would not recommend purchasing from this brand unless you're willing to risk buying a product that may fail and receive no support from the manufacturer.

We had this previous model side-by-side tandem, refrigerator and freezer. It went bad and I replaced it with a new one due to our space being a fixed cupboard size. This is a unique size in and of itself. The model has almost doubled in price. Also, to my great surprise, it did not fit in the space provided so they have widened and heightened this model from previous to put together the unit was a disaster. Extremely poor instructions. Unbelievable that a machine Price this much still needs that much time. Spent to put pieces and things and wheels and brackets together. Next time I would rip out my cupboards by the unit I wanted and pay someone to redo my cupboards rather than buy another one of these. The extra trim kit for $700 I can™™t even use as the bottom piece bins out when opening the door on day one. I looked at my sisters and friends same model in both theirs every time the door opens on the fridge or freezer bins this trim unit out as well every time so it™™s a consistent problem not just with me. The manufacturer has to know this , it has not fixed it and it™™s another waste of a large sum of money. One of the drawers came broken in the freezer and when we called to get it replaced, they told us this was not a warranted part and we could purchase a new one for $250 , we did get it replaced free but only after arguing and having to really push the issue which is unbelievable and extremely poor customer service. Never again.

Horrible customer service! My icemaker broke and it was leaking water internally! I had extensive water damage to my brand new kitchen cabinets as well as ceiling damage on my newly renovated basement. Repair service said it wasn™™t fixable and to contact customer service directly because it was an internal issue and that Frigidaire would have to replace the entire freezer since it wasn™™t repairable. I called and the rude woman totally ignored my complaint and flat out told me to buy a new freezer!!!! why would I buy a new freezer when my freezer was working fine it was my icemaker that wasn™™t working. I asked to speak to someone above her and she refused. I am going to contact consumer affairs

My wife and I built a new home and we know we needed enough freezer and refrigerator capacity to entertain. Frigidaire delivered big time! They had the perfect solution and we were sold the first time we saw it in the showroom. It is beautiful, big and had all that we wanted for thousands less than any other manufacturer. Now that it is installed and we're four weeks into using it daily, the appliance works as described. We use the internal water dispenser, too. We are very happy with our purchase and recommend this product to anyone.

We love our fridge and freezer! The trim package to make them look like one unit is amazing. However, we™™ve only just started using it. We thought we were handy enough to install the trim package. Installation of the trim package starts with laying your heavy expensive fridge down to take its feet off. It™™s something probably best left to people who do this every day.

Purchase the freezer on 7-1-2024 (installed). It is now 8-27-2024 and I am waiting, yet again, on another service call. Brand new unit had burned out interior light and a faulty seal (they think). It was replaced and is still not fixed. Now there is another work order. Two months with no freezer! Bought the warranty and still going through this. Not one working day from this freezer.

After waiting months for our fridge and freezer to come in, the ice machine on the freezer never worked. A Frigidaire contractor came out, saw there was an internal leak and told us a new freezer was on order with the company. Months go by and nothing -- but when I contact Frigidaire, they agreed they were to replace the freezer, but claimed that I didn't call soon enough to "check on the replacement" so it was cancelled. And then I was outside the warranty period. NUTS!! The freezer continued to leak into itself and rusted out, meaning the whole thing stopped working. We bought another freezer because we had the pair. But I will never buy another Frigidaire product and cannot recommend them to ANYONE.

Three year old freezer ice maker stops working. Frigidaire service comes out and determines it is the fill tube heater that is not working. Should be a fairly simple repair, right. No, the heater is not repairable nor is it replaceable. It's a known "issue" (which I verified with a web search and found a number of postings) but Frigidaire has no solution other than "buy a new one". Four thousand dollars and it fails and isn't fixable in 3 years. The company SHOULD have some solution to offer. I'll never buy a thing from the company again. Poor quality at a high price.

The new freezer unit is 6.5" taller than the previous model, so modifications had to be made to our cabinet area. The new freezer will not make ice cubes for 24 hours after installation. This info should be included in the quick set up guide book (it is listed only in the regular manual). The customer must also reset the ice maker once it is installed.

The line that feeds the ice maker broke within the body of the freezer. It is not fixable in any way and because it is not within the 1 year window and I didn't buy the extended warranty they wouldn't do anything for me. I have to buy a new freezer since I have the set. Very disappointed.

My wife and I are currently building a house so we bought the large freezer/refrigerator combo. We took delivery of the product at a time when we could not install them due to flooring going in so we stored them in the house. When we finally unboxed them, the freezer was damaged in multiple areas with packaging ripped open and damaged. We purchased a 5 year warranty as well so I had a technician come out to inspect the damages. We have never even unboxed or plugged these in. He was blown away and said we could possible get a full replacement. After 2 hours on the phone with support and two different people telling me that we would get a replacement; I was transferred to another person who said they would not replace it. She was very rude and would not even hear me out. It got to the point where I told her I don't want you to replace it, but I need it fixed so we have a working freezer in our new house. She told me she couldn't help me any more. I would warn anybody that the customer service is awful and I would not recommend this product.

This company is EXTREMELY unethical. I used to think Fridgedaire was a reputable brand. Bought this fridge/freezer combo back in December 2023. A couple weeks ago my freezer died out of nowhere. Company said they'd send a guy... had some local contracter come out. Had to order a whole new battery which took weeks. In the mean time, I asked to escalate my case because this is still less than 1 year old and the freezer should not be going out like this. They customer service rep lied to me, told me the manager was busy and that Fridgedaire would contact me within 24 hours. Guess who didn't return my call? Well anyways the appliance store we purchased this from also reached out to Fridgedaire through their sales rep. Fridgedaire evidently decided they would replace my freezer. It was installed on Tuesday. Today is Friday - I open my freezer and guess what? It died AGAIN. I am totally at a loss for words on how a once reputable company can continue selling this piece of trash and robbing innocent people. I will now have to extend my warranty to save myself from having to rebuy this crap over and over again. If you look at the reviews for this freezer on other sites, you will see many lamenting stories like mine. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME. The stress of losing hundreds of dollars of food I used to store in this freezer makes me sick.

This freezer is junk and so is Frigidaire customer service. We had this freezer delivered to our new home in August of 2022 to replace a Whirlpool because we THOUGHT Frigidaire made a superior product. It is not even two years old and the ice line is not functioning properly. When the ice maker calls for water half goes into the freezer and half leaks out on our floor. The leak is in the liner and outside casing that has been (foamed as of the past 2 years) therefore made irreparable. The unit must be replaced. Then we call customer service and everytime we get the run around by people that do not hardly speak our language (english) and they will not connect us with anyone higher up. By the way, the Whirlpool we replaced is in our garage, is older and still works perfectly. I have filed complaints with the BBB & Federal Trade Commission

Loving our new Frigidaire column fridge! Interior lighting and organization are a great upgrade. Cooling is consistent and effective. Runs silently. Only downside is there are crisper drawers for vegetables but no cheese/butter drawer. Needed to purchase separate bins for this purpose which should not be necessary. Exterior handle length is not in proportion with a unit of this height and set screw hardware is very visible. Otherwise thrilled and highly recommended!
